Ante la pintura de no más de dos metros de alto y uno de ancho, protegida por una serpiente de ramas doradas, el antes ruidoso grupo de chicos queda petrificado. La reducida y oscura sala apenas permite que una tenue luz custodie al misterioso cuadro. Los inquietos visitantes tardan en reconocer a la figura retratada. Cuando la penumbra del lugar les permite identificarla, ya es muy tarde para escapar: la joven despierta y ha notado su presencia.
