Resumen del Libro

En buena hora es el primer poemario ganador del premio convocado por la Facultad de Poesía José Ángel Valente de la Universidad de Almería. Recoge once poemas que emplean conceptos herederos de la tradición cultural católica: formas y estructuras que recuerdan a oraciones, relatos fundacionales con tono bíblico y terminología asociada a los ritos. Todo ello, con un estilo próximo y cercano, anclado a la realidad cotidiana, en ocasiones irónico y en otras, compasivo. De esta manera, comenzando por un Génesis que describe una primera y torpe caída en desgracia, se busca el contacto con el otro, la comprensión y el perdón y se alcanza un cierto Paraíso íntimo y personal. Por el camino, se abordan temas como la inevitabilidad del paso del tiempo, la experiencia como forma de aprendizaje o la aceptación y disfrute del propio cuerpo.
