Resumen del Libro

Adaptación gráfica del capítulo VI de Las Praderas del Cielo del ganador del Nobel John Steinbeck. Junius Maltby, un contador de San Francisco, encuentra el descanso que tanto necesita en el valle de las Praderas del Cielo, así como una esposa y una familia. Sin embargo, su estancia en idílico valle lo revierte a un estado infantil, ajeno a toda responsabilidad. En tales condiciones, se encuentra de pronto ante el desafío de hacerse cargo de la formación moral, física e intelectual de su hijo. Las personas del pueblo hablan, pero Maltby apenas lo nota, hasta que es obligado a enviar al niño a la escuela. Ahí, el pequeño Robbie tendrá su primer encuentro con las normas de la sociedad.
