In the United States, the ability to take informed action is becoming increasingly necessary, and difficult. This book delves into the importance of being informed and explains how not all sources of information are equal. Readers are introduced to the scientific method as a way of testing information for credibility. Students will also learn how to turn credible information into action by forming groups, protesting, contacting elected representatives, and possibly even running for office themselves someday.
