Resumen del Libro

A lo largo de un día, dos mujeres —Ruth y Andrea— conversan y repasan la vida de la primera, mientras Andrea se enfrenta a unos sentimientos que luchaba por olvidar. El título hace referencia por un lado al viaje fugaz que hace la protagonista y por otro lado alude a su menstruación, pues es el elemento que la autora ha elegido para vertebrar la narración. A través de distintos episodios relacionados con su regla, Ruth reflexiona acerca de las diferentes fases de su vida y cómo han influido en su cuerpo. No es una novela de formación pero sí de primeras veces, pues en ella se narran muchas de las primeras experiencias vitales de la protagonista.
