Resumen del Libro

El Papa Francisco nos anima con un escrito de san Francisco de Asís a cuidar nuestra casa común, la Tierra: “Alabado seas, mi Señor, por la hermana nuestra madre tierra, la cual nos sustenta, gobierna y produce diversos frutos con coloridas flores y hierba”. Este libro está escrito para niños, educadores y catequistas que deseen contribuir a cuidar el medio ambiente. En él encontramos, además de varios párrafos de la Encíclica Laudato Si, una atractiva exposición de actitudes que favorecen o perjudican la conservación de la naturaleza. Amigos del planeta Tierra son aquellos que cultivan y cuidan el jardín creado por Dios; monstruos, en cambio, son los que lo maltratan. Los primeros, además, se esfuerzan en que disminuya el número de monstruos. ¿Interesante, verdad?
