Este libro procura equilibrar el campo de juego y mostrar que cualquiera puede ser un buen fotógrafo. Todo lo que se necesita es voluntad, un teléfono inteligente y un bolsillo. Las cámaras no hacen fotografías, las personas sí. Abra cualquier revista de fotografía y leerá que todo depende de cámaras, objetivos, sensores, ajustes de apertura, etcétera. Y sí, todo depende de estas cosas. Pero lo más importante es el fotógrafo. La fotografía se basa en cómo vemos y experimentamos el mundo que nos rodea. El 99 por ciento de lo que registra una fotografía depende del fotógrafo. De lejos, el mayor impacto en nuestras imágenes depende de las decisiones creativas que tomamos, no del tipo de equipo que utilizamos. ¿Qué significa esto? Bueno, en primer lugar, significa que no necesitamos una cámara de última generación. Segundo, significa que no deberíamos desalentarnos por una falta de conocimientos técnicos; esto ya vendrá con el tiempo.
