Elegía

This book presents a selection of works from the contemporary art collection of the UMAC, emphasizing more recent acquisitions and a few works that have been placed on long-term loan. Also includes some of the highlights from earlier phases of the collection's history.

There is no survey study to date that would have analyzed the history of spatial relations in Castilian Spanish, i.e. the prepositions, transitive adverbs as well as prepositional and adverbial locutions used for the spatial localization of entities. Based on an extensive corpus, this book offers a complete diasystematic characterization of these aspects and discusses new hypotheses with regard to their correlations.
