Más de cuarenta alcaldes han dirigido los destinos de la comuna de Pichilemu, desde la instalación de la Municipalidad en mayo de 1894: algunos con más acierto que otros, pero sin duda, todos buscando el progreso local. “Camino al Progreso” no sólo recupera la historia administrativa local, sino que también reconstruye las biografías de vecinos relevantes, desde dirigentes sociales a folcloristas.
