La imágen sin límites

Las fotografías históricas tomadas en América Latina han puesto en evidencia su valor como sitios cruciales de la política de la memoria, la imaginación etnográfica y la negociación de la identidad. Este volumen abre un conjunto de preguntas relacionadas con la agencia contemporánea de este tipo de imágenes, así como su apropiación actual a través de nuevas tecnologías.

La composición, debido a su complejidad, suele ser la tarea pendiente de toda persona que se inicia en la fotografía, incluso de aquellas que tienen cierta experiencia. Por ello, decidí escribir un libro diferente, sobre todo muy visual, en el que se hablara de la composición de una forma más práctica, con menos tecnicismos y con un lenguaje coloquial, haciendo hincapié en conceptos a los que normalmente no se les da tanta importancia. The charming town of Los Gatos is nestled at the base of the Santa Cruz Mountains and is sometimes referred to as the Gem City of the Foothills. It has inspired hundreds of postcard images through the years, many reflecting the areas abundance of natural beauty. As the town and surrounding area grew and prospered through agriculture, logging, and commerce, the local architecture and landmarks became popular subjects.
