Resumen del Libro

Libro La imágen sin límites

Anthological exhibition of Cuban photography, fifty artists and one hundred images allow an extensive tour of the development of photography in Cuba since its arrival on the island in 1840 to the present. With this exhibition, curated by the specialist Rafael Acosta de Arriba, the exhibition of Cuban photography returns to the Museum's halls. Somehow a similar attempt was made in 1983, when another representative sample of our photography was deployed to date. For the occasion, a catalog has been published in which several specialists discuss photography in Cuba, prominent women photographers and renowned international artists who have worked in the country throughout almost 180 years of island photography are mentioned, as well as They update the most important events that occurred within the scope of the lens in the period between one exhibition and another. This book is a testimony of the exhibition for the service of researchers, students and teachers.

Rodrigo Moya

Libro Rodrigo Moya

Life and professional career of photographer Moya considered one of the giants of the development of photojournalism in Mexico, particularly during the 70 year authoritarian regime of the political party PRI. The book presents 31 photographs shot between 1955 and 1967 and includes images of the death of Francisco Goitia (Impacto, 1960), Diego Rivera and David Alfaro Siqueiros (1957), Manifestation of teachers with cartel of ...
