Presents essays that analyze the art teachings in Mexico City from the 18th to 20th century, particularly in 4 prestigious institutions: the Academia de San Carlos, the Escuela Nacional Preparatoria (now the Antiguo Colegio de San Ildelfonso), the Escuela Nacional de Bellas Artes and the Secretaría de Educación Pública. The outcome is the present anthological volume.

This sociophonetic study investigates the language of Andalusian politicians in the Spanish government between 1923 and 2011. Thanks to a quantitative analysis that reveals processes of convergence and divergence between Andalusian and central-peninsular Spanish throughout the century, it formulates unprecedented conclusions on the behavior of the Andalusian variety outside of its borders in educated speakers and formal communication contexts.

Con el impulso de un camino andado certeramente, en este segundo volumen el crítico Ayala Blanco revisa las cintas de una industria cinematográfica ya establecida y, al mismo tiempo, aborda con mirada atenta las renovadoras experiencias cinematográficas del cine independiente, señalando lúcidos aciertos y también caminos equivocados. El análisis arranca en el decisivo año de 1968 y culmina en 1972. La búsqueda, según palabras del autor, es triple: "buscamos al cine mexicano; el cine mexicano busca su identidad; nos buscamos en el cine mexicano, a riesgo de perdernos".
