Mi primer libro de lectura es una herramienta para que los lectores principiantes aprendan cómo leer. Es un buen paso para aquellos niños que han dominado el alfabeto y los sonidos de cada letra. Incluye oraciones cortas, palabras familiares y conceptos simples para aquellos niños que desean leer por su cuenta. El contenido educará al niño sobre los principales temas de nuestra sociedad: la familia, el trabajo, los valores morales, ética ciudadana, el medio ambiente y muchos otros temas. Además contiene bellas imágenes a todo color que acompañan la lectura inicial. El propósito principal de las ilustraciones que acompañan el relato es captar la imaginación del niño y al mismo tiempo hacer que el libro atraiga al joven aprendiz. Después de usar este libro, el niño mejorará la fluidez y la velocidad de la lectura de frases cortas y oraciones simples usando palabras familiares.
