1819 y la construcción del Estado-Nación en Colombia es una obra conmemorativa de una fecha histórica relacionada con el Bicentenario del proceso de Independencia de Colombia. Justamente posee problemáticas variadas, pero siempre con fenomenologías en torno a 1819, verbigracia, los antecedentes, las distintas miradas del problema histórico e historiográfico desde diversas ópticas de análisis (como en efecto las hay), sus repercusiones y, por supuesto, lo que representó a lo largo del tiempo para la construcción del Estado-Nación.
