Abby, Brit, Christine y Sasha están hartas. La preparatoria Hazelton nunca tiene suficientes tampones. Ni toallas. Ni adultos dispuestos a escuchar. Cansadas de una administración que antepone el futbol americano a la salud femenina, las chicas se enfrentan a un mundo que se encoge de hombros —o peor, se retuerce—, ante la posibilidad de una revolución menstrual. Este grupo de amigas se une para lograr un cambio.
