The exhibition catalogue is a retrospective examination of artist Caffera (b. Chile 1931) life and workmanship, from his collages "Ensembles," his artist books to his ceramics and jewelry created using simple, ordinary and natural materials (cloths, wood, metal, etc.), as representations of what has lost value in the eyes of the present bourgeoisie culture and that in the artist's coherent and ideological unity represent fragments of unconnected life experiences. Caffera has been a member since 1964 of the Unión de Artistas Plásticos Contemporáneos, UAPC (Union of Contemporary Plastic Artists).
