La presente monografía ofrece una puesta al día de la figura y obra de Diego López de Cortegana, cuyas facetas de inquisidor y de hombre de letras habían sido poco estudiadas y, aun en esos casos, por lo general de forma separada hasta entrado el siglo XX.
