This book is developed around a modest stew that the protagonist is preparing to eat at home. And, from that humble and traditional dish, the consecutive chapters tell us about the neighborhood store that sells prepared food, about the ingredients of the stew -meats, legumes, vegetables..., about water and wine and the accompanying bread. And through all these elements, the author delves into everyday life, memories of childhood and beyond childhood, in the literary pages in which food is the protagonist.
