La presente colección es una nueva perspectiva de los célebres estudios Opus 60, para guitarra, del compositor italiano Matteo Carcassi (1792−1853), a través del atonalismo sistemático, con un matiz singular y elocuente de la técnica dodecafónica de composición musical, ya que su creador, en ocasiones, deja de lado la rigidez de la técnica serial para brindar a cada metamorfosis el carácter que la identifica, logrando así una reinterpretación anudada a sonoridades contemporáneas con una escritura idiomática para el instrumento que resulta cautivadora.
