Las llamadas Casas Reales son hermosas y rutilantes ollas de grillos, que mandan o reinan todavía en muchos paises europeos, donde predomina casi exclusivamente la Casa de Borbón. Los Borbones están emparentados entre sí, de un modo u otro, cercano o lejanamente, con todos los tronos o monarquías existentes. Se entienden a través de un idioma común: el francés, proveniente de los originarios Capetos galos, una auténtica multinacional de la realeza. En este texto se ha desarrollado una historia de la Casa de Borbón, circunscrita al caso español y sus ramas circundantes.
