El libro recoge poesías “infantiles” del genial Fernando Pessoa. Se trata de textos para la infancia o alrededor de temas que pueden atraer a los niños, y que, además, atraerán con seguridad a la legión de admiradores de Pessoa. Algunos de los poemas fueron dedicados a su sobrina Manuela; otros a la muñeca de Manuela, Lili; los demás fueron escritos originariamente para adultos, pero por su delicadeza, universo imaginario o popularidad pueden ser disfrutados por todas las edades.
