Este libro, con descriptivas ilustraciones, incluye información básica sobre el tema de los sentidos humanos y establece interesantes comparaciones con los de los animales Con el fin de captar las sensaciones del mundo que lo rodea, el ser humano utiliza los sentidos; ojos, nariz, oídos, lengua y piel son los órganos que reciben los estímulos y los envían al cerebro, que identifica a qué corresponde cada percepción. De este modo, desde el nacimiento, en la memoria se va acumulando información sobre la forma en que se asocian las sensaciones y su significado: el aroma del pastel con la imagen de algo agradable; el olor a drenaje con la idea de algo desagradable. El asesor de la obra fue Kim Gil-Won, graduado en la Universidad de Hankuk Kyowon, con especialidad en Ciencias Animales y doctorado en Conducta Animal en la Universidad de Nancy, Francia.
