La vida de Alejandro García-Duran es intensa y desbordante. El presente libro intenta aproximar al lector a la vida del escolapio Alejandro García Durán, padre “Chinchachoma” —así lo bautizaron los niños de la calle mexicanos—, a través de un breve recorrido biográfico y del gran valor de los testimonios quee los que lo conocieron nos han querido aportar. Capítulo tras capítulo, podremos descubrir su generosa entrega a México y a su infancia, todavía hoy recorriendo las calles sin rumbo.
