The present exhibition organized in commemoration of the Bicentennial of the Independence 1810-1822 and examines the use of the word and image in the battle for American Independence. One of the main achievements of Independence put into circulation was a set of ideas and language that the possibility of a different social order in imagery and word. It can be said that a title defines the book. A "manual", according to two of the many definitions of the word from the dictionary of the Spanish language of the Royal Spanish Academy is "a book that summarizes the most substantial material of a topic" or "a book or notebook to make annotations".
